A good one to end the night on. by Will and his cat Dixie.
Paige says:
Hi guys–
Love the site. As a Wisconsinite, I thought I’d whip a little something up in honor of tonight’s win. Thanks much!

A mere 90 minutes later, hardcore regular YWCH contributor Bex Schwartz says:
ta-dah!

Rory presents us with two movements of injured rescued kitteh based on this epic magical tale of courage and hope in the New York subway.
First is an inspiring metaphor:

Then Rory blessed us with this adorable castified fuzzy friend (same cat):

The first version he sent us actually said “yes we can haz free helf carez”, which sparked some heated discussion about Obama’s health care position. Jeff had these comments:
jeff: so, [Obama]‘s for health care which is affordable to all, but not free.
jeff: which is my dilemma
jeff: although i like the cast on the cat.
jeff: should we ask rory to update the photo? or should cats be given a pass on understanding the subtleties of helfcare?
Rory responds:
how about “universal” health care? which i suppose would be something like “universul helf carez”. or I guess we could just say “affordable” … whats that in lol language.? I suppose “affordibul”. oh also, I guess I should change “haz” to “has” for consistency.
I directed Rory to this link as an example:
And Rory had this to say:
hrm … I suppose I could redo it again to be consistent with the precedent set by previous health care posts … but frankly, those are different looking cats and could very well pronounce that term in slightly different ways.
I like that the little black kitten says “carez” while the presumably older, wrinkle-faced (possibly british?) cat elongates the vowels with “yooneeversul”.
He decided to stick with affordible, and a masterpiece was born.
